This sweet, round light roast opens with aromas of dried apple, nougat, and cinnamon. Cocoa powder and toasted almond notes are accompanied by nougat sweetness and pleasant nectarine acidity. The crisp, spiced finish features cinnamon and grilled lemon.

This uncommon varietal is a hybrid of the giant Maragogype bean and the more traditional and sweet Caturra. It is a productive plant but susceptible to leaf rust, so it must be carefully monitored. This lot grows at 1,753 MASL. After harvest the coffee is washed and carefully processed directly on the farm.
Maracaturra's unique characteristics, along with the dedication and skill of the producers at Finca El Socorro, create a coffee that is delicate, flavorful, and sweet.

All of our coffees are roasted to order. Orders placed before 4PM Central roast + ship the next business day. Orders placed after 4PM Central on Thursday will roast + ship on Monday.
