This seasonal offering from our Direct Trade partner Finca Las Mercedes is a silky light roast with notes of blackberry, hazelnut, and black tea.
Each year we select a Direct Trade coffee to feature as our Holiday Bean. The nutty sweetness, silky body, and crisp blackberry and black tea notes in Finca Las Mercedes' washed SL28 made it a great fit.
From its origins in Kenya in the 1930s, SL28 has spread through Africa and is commonly grown in Latin America today. A relative of Bourbon, it is known for its exceptional cup quality and high yield.
