In honor of Women's Health and History Month, PT's will be donating $2 per bag sold of coffees from women producers to Grounds for Health. These coffees also include La Primavera SL28 Natural and Red de Miramar Washed.
A sweet and silky coffee with aromas of caramel, dried mango, and dark chocolate. Graham cracker sweetness and nectarine acidity underpin flavors of raspberry, yellow apple, and more caramel. Toasted marshmallow and pecan notes provide a sweet finish.

"Founded in 2022, El Morito is a community-based group of smallholders who process their coffees independently before consolidating for export. This structure prioritizes traceability, autonomy, and shared investment in quality.
"Maria Estela is a key figure in El Morito, farming at 1,790-1,850 MASL in Cajamarca. She works alongside her three children, cultivating Yellow Caturra, Marshell (a high-quality varietal recently discovered in Peru's highlands), and Bourbon, and handling all post-harvest processing on-farm.
"Education is at the heart of her efforts: two of her children aim to become doctors, while her son Antony is preparing to specialize in post-harvest techniques to carry on the family’s coffee legacy."
Grounds for Health has provided women’s health programs in coffee communities since 1996. These programs include innovative HPV screenings and life-saving treatment of preventable diseases, such as cervical cancer.
Cervical cancer is a nearly 100% preventable disease — yet in the next 15 years, it could kill almost 4.5 million women, many of whom live in low-income countries where coffee is grown.
They have kept women healthy in Central and South America, and their current programs are in Ethiopia and Kenya.
